Kanai’s Cube is one of the key parts of Diablo 3, and we’ve got all the information you need to find it and start using it on your own.
In Diablo 3, Kanai’s Cube is a crucial part of character growth, just as important as Paragon’s farming items and grinding.
One of the main uses of the cube is the three item slots for legendary power extraction, but it can reforge, upgrade, and augment items as well.
We will see where to go and how to get Kanai’s Cube in Diablo 3 here.
Kanai’s Diablo 3 Cube location
Kanai’s cube can be found in The Ruins of Sescheron, located at the top right of the Act 3 map. Once you arrive, go left towards the town and go around the surrounding ruins.
In one of the corners (top right, bottom right, bottom left or bottom right) you will find the entrance to the real area you need to enter: the Ancient shrine.
Once you enter the Sanctuary of the Ancients, you will have to walk around the entire area, almost to the end. Right before the end, you should find Kanai’s cube surrounded by an orange flame on an altar. Just click on it and it will automatically be brought back to town, ready to go.
It is important to note that you will need to find Kanai’s Cube once per season, but only once for your entire account. Once you find it for a character, it will also be available to all of your secondary characters. Once you have it, the Cube can be accessed from any city in the game.
Kanai Cube Abilities and Recipes
All legendary power of an item (the orange text below the item’s stats) can be extracted by the Cube and placed in the appropriate place. These include:
- Armed – legendary weapons and powers with a show of hands.
- Armor – legendary powers from one of the six main love slots (Helm, Shoulders, Chest, Gloves, Pants, Boots), as well as belts and armbands.
- Jewelry – legendary amulet and ring powers.
In addition, you can also reforge (revive) legendary items, upgrade rare items, convert set items, remove item level requirements, convert gems and materials, and increase ancient items.
